One of our key focuses at SFR is to reconcile Science and the Christian Faith by appealing to evidence of design in biology, astronomy, and biochemistry, as well as biblical, historical, philosophical, and moral evidence for Christianity.
There are many beautiful exhibits of God's design in nature and in the laws of nature, but much of it gets clouded out by misconceptions pertaining to Darwinian evolution or the age of the Earth. We attempt to navigate these difficult topics in ways that reveal the truth of Christianity. |
Join Daniel (a Christian and science teacher), and his brother John (an agnostic & software engineer), as they discuss matters pertaining to Christianity, science, faith, and reason. See how these two staunchly opposed (but sometimes agreeing) perspectives affect the way these two science fanboys view the world around them, how they find meaning in life, and how they want to grow to be a better version of themselves with each passing day. Jesus of Nazareth, Big Bang cosmology, biblical inerrancy, artificial intelligence, and the fine-tuning of the universe are just a few of the topics discussed.

There’s a world of robots within the cell… but how did they get here? Did nature and time assemble the parts of the tiny protein machines that make life possible, or was there something beyond nature that assembled these complex cellular structures?
Eukaryotic transcription and translation are perhaps the greatest examples of God’s fingerprint on life. Faucett navigates these processes in a new series to see if they are better explained by natural processes, or by an intelligence beyond what our natural laws and time are capable of producing. This work may appear to be overly academic, but great lengths have been taken to ensure the contents of this work are not beyond the cursory reading of a layman. |
